Why Do you Do what You Do?

After retiring and returning to Fremont, I was looking for ways to serve God in tangible ways. I am well acquainted with the good work of Compassion Network after many years at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Serving in the office allows me to meet people and help them with their needs through our many services. I was glad to attend the Fremont Resource Center quarterly orientation and realize that we are a valued part of the many resources available to those in need in our community. Participating in Compassion Network's ongoing care for those in need is an important part of my following Jesus and loving God and our neighbors.
