God Is Always Working

Unexpected Blessing

Gabriel, an FCC congregant and a gardener, volunteered to help an elderly woman with her gardening needs. While working at her property, his truck was hit by a neighbor who was trying to park his own vehicle. Gabe's first reaction was one of frustration. But God turned it all around, and Gabe now speaks to the neighbor and the homeowner about God regularly - sharing the love of Jesus!

Orchestrated by God

A congregant from FCC was talking about all the furniture that had to be moved out of her father-in-law's home and how there was no place to donate the furniture. Ali, one of our office volunteers from Compassion Network, overheard and started matching Afghan families in need with the furniture pieces. FCC volunteers offloaded furniture from the moving van in the FCC parking lot, loaded them onto their individual trucks and cars, and delivered to 4 families! Also, an Afghan man and wife who attend the FCC ESL class volunteered to help and found that they lived across the street from one of the newly arrived families who knew no one in the area. They connected and exchanged contact information. What a blessing that could only be orchestrated by God!
