Featured Volunteer Spotlight

My volunteering at Compassion Network was definitely the Lord speaking to me.  I found that our church’s Liaison had retired.  I felt it was important that our church have that connection to Compassion Network.  I volunteered to be our church’s Liaison and as I took part in the various Outreach Programs: Joyful Bounty, Hearty Harvest, Backpack Event, etc.  I met so many people who touched my heart and I was led to volunteer in the Compassion Network office where I could further meet and help individuals who come into the Compassion Network office.  I love the busy time in the office when we are preparing for the Outreach Programs.
