Compassion Network’s Summer Intern- Motivated by Faith

Volunteering at Compassion Network has inspired me. Before summer started, my mom was looking into summer options for me, hoping to make my summer both fun-filled and worthwhile. She came up with the idea of interning and encouraged me to take a chance at volunteering at Compassion Network. So I took a leap of faith, and I found that volunteering has been inspiring and fulfilling. Every Wednesday I walk into the buzzing Compassion office and see the bright, smiling faces of hardworking people truly dedicated to the well-being of others around them. I get to be a part of a team that is truly being the hands and feet of Jesus. While I may not be on the front lines of serving the community around us, I am confident that the actions I am taking behind the scenes are making a difference. This is why I do what I do; I want to make a lasting impact on the community by showing the love of God!
